The four multifunctional colour systems CDC 1725, CDC 1730, CDC 1740 and CDC 1840 represent UTAX GmbH’s latest models for use in office environments.
The four systems stand out due to a high level of productivity. A reliable paper transport system with a vertical paper feed enables a fast first printout. It also has a high output speed: depending on the model, 25, 30 or 40 A4 pages per minute in colour and b/w. The CDC 1840 has an output capacity of up to 50 A4 pages b/w per minute.
Innovative technology for optimised results
The use of innovative toner technology results in a wider colour range and a higher level of precision as regards image quality. Texts and lines are rendered more finely than ever before.
Optimised development technology results in a consistently thin layer of toner on the output documents. The result is a uniform print image.
Another feature, the trapping function, prevents white gaps between black text and a coloured background. The systems are suitable for a variety of applications. They allow the user to create high-quality presentation documents, proposals or graphics.
The optional document processor scans double-sided documents in a single operation. Up to 100 pages can be processed per minute. And thanks to optimised area segmentation, texts are recognised by their optical properties during scanning, while scanned photos retain their typical photographic characteristics. This results in a better image quality.
Data is processed as a compressed PDF file, thus reducing the network load.
Intelligent control and simple operation
The colour systems CDC 1725, CDC 1730, CDC 1740 and CDC 1840 are based on SynControl technology, which controls all functions centrally and optimally coordinates them. The systems are operated using a large touch-sensitive colour display and a user-friendly printer driver. The USB direct print and Scan to USB functions allow the user to work with documents even without a PC.
The four models comply with the latest requirements as regards data security. Network authentication, SSL encryption, private print or PDF encryption when scanning, as well as the optional Printed Document Guard Kit and Data Security Kit – these features provide the user with extensive options for configuring security settings in the network or on the systems.
The multifunctional colour systems CDC 1725, CDC 1730, CDC 1740 and CDC 1840 are also the first models to show off the new elegant anthracite product design.
