UTAX GmbH is updating its facsimile product range. The multifunctional FAX 541 replaces the model FAX 540. The FAX 541 is situated also for large fax jobs. With the system´s integrated 33.6 kbps modem the despatch of one page DIN A4 only takes 2.5 seconds. The 6 MB document memory covers 400 pages. The address directory of FAX 541 stores up to 500 names, fax numbers or email-addresses. The user can dial them directly. By using the broadcast function for 499 numbers, the time expenditure can be reduced considerably. With the integrated 56 kbps modem for internet use, the system sends faxes and scans as an email. The keyboard allows to create SMS. Quality in colour and black/white The colour depth of 36 bit and the resolution of 300 x 300 dpi deliver high quality colour or black/white scans. The creation of one black/white scan lasts 1.8 seconds, one colour scan is completed after 16 seconds. As an option, the FAX 541 can be used as a high performance laser printer. The system prints and copies 16 pages DIN A4 per minute with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi.
