UTAX GmbH: Successful financial Year 2006

UTAX GmbH looks back on a successful financial year in 2006.
“The year 2006 also went very well for us. In the DOC sector, we posted an overall turnover of EUR 129.9 million and thus a sales increase of 16.8 per cent,” reports UTAX Managing Director Michael Becker.

Around 24,000 sold copy systems lead to an increase in unit sales of 21.3 per cent in Germany. Here, also about 24.900 printers were sold in 2006, which means an increase in units of 76.3 per cent. Internationally, an increase in printer units of 54.4 per cent was reached while sold copy units remained constantly.

The presentation and media technology product area, which will be given up by UTAX GmbH in spring 2007, finished the 2006 financial year with a turnover of € 5.7 million. Therefore the overall result of UTAX GmbH in the financial year 2006 is € 135.6 million.

Strategies for 2006 forecast further growth. Becker: “We see further potential for our sales concepts UTAX CONSULTING and UTAX DOCUMENT CONSULTING. Also in the colour area we want to achieve additional growth. We expect a couple of new products in both, the colour and b/w area.”
