Andes+Kern, located in Norderstedt, has been offering presentation and media technology (PMT) since more than 20 years. In 1998, the company became an affiliate of TA Triumph-Adler AG. In the business year 2003, Anders+Kern achieved a turnover of more than 30 million Euro. UTAX GmbH has been very successful with its product range of output systems since several years. In the first half year 2004, the company registered a sales increase of more than ten percent compared to the previous year. In the business year 2003, the company´s overall result amounted more than 80 million Euro. UTAX GmbH belongs to the leading German specialised trade suppliers for copiers, printers and fax systems. Its subsidiary company UTAX DocForms GmbH is successful in the market of DMS. On this platform Anders+Kern´s products are planned to be distributed successfully furthermore. This merger shall strengthen the product division PMT to be able to participate in this increasing segment also in future. Another purpose builds the use of synergies in the different sales channels. UTAX intends to generate additional increases, besides the growth in its imaging division, also from presentation and media technology. The qualified service and support for the business partners will be ensured by separate sales divisions within the company UTAX also in future.
